User Research
University Of Missouri
I led a user research initiative in collaboration with the Experience Design team and the University of Missouri to support the development of an updated process for our experience design work. Until this point, direct user research with our students had not been conducted, which left a gap in our understanding of how they engaged with our course designs and features. Recognizing this need, I volunteered to lead the project to ensure our future designs would be informed by real student experiences and preferences.

The primary goal of the research was to gather meaningful student feedback on our existing designs, identifying both what was working well and what needed improvement. By building and conducting surveys our team was able to uncover valuable insights into which features students used most, which were underutilized, and where pain points existed.
These findings allowed us to prioritize updates in our upcoming design iterations based on actual student needs. Just as importantly, the research also revealed what our students truly loved about the experience, which helped validate the work our team had already done and reinforced the value we were delivering through thoughtful, user-centered design.
